A perfect tournament

The stars
Gaila González led the attack with 13 points and Yonkaira Peña added 12 in a final where the Dominican blocking and consistency were too much for the Colombian team. The team also celebrates generational renewal: the mix of veterans and young players promises to sustain the regional reign.
The key figure
Seventh consecutive gold. The reign that made the Queens of the Caribbean the most successful dynasty in Dominican sport.
