Bono a Mil 2026-2027: how to check if your children are on the list
Foto: Listín DiarioThe Ministry of Education (MINERD) activated the Bono a Mil por la Educación 2026-2027 consultation, a one-time incentive of RD$1,000 for each student enrolled in a public school. It will benefit 948,762 fathers, mothers and guardians, corresponding to 1,394,482 students at the Initial, Primary and Secondary levels.
How to check
The portal www.bonoamil.gob.do asks for your ID number, an active mobile phone and each student’s ID code. If you do not have the ID, it must be requested at the school where the student is enrolled.
How to collect it
Once the information is validated, the system sends a Banreservas Remittances code by text message to withdraw the incentive at any Banreservas commercial office, without needing a bank account.
Deadlines and notices
The 2026-2027 school year starts on August 24, and the ministry recommends checking before that date. A guardian with three children in public schools can receive up to RD$3,000. If the data does not appear or is incorrect, the recommended step is to go to the school or the corresponding Regional Education Directorate.
The key figure: RD$1,000 per student for 948,762 guardians, collected via Banreservas Remittances.
