Public Health warns of consequences after woman dies following cosmetic surgery

The case
The patient died after a cosmetic procedure, in circumstances the health authorities are investigating. The Ministry assured that those involved in the procedure will not be exempt from responsibility, in line with current regulations on health establishments.
The warning to the public
The institution recalled that cosmetic procedures must be performed in authorized centers, with licensed medical personnel and under established safety conditions. Choosing unregistered clinics, suspiciously cheap offers or “surgeons” without credentials can cost a life.
